HAZEL S. GOFF

Hazel B. Smith Goff, age 79, died Wednesday afternoon at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence R. and Lillie Taylor Smith. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert William Goff Sr.; her sister, Mertie Smith Cole and a grandson, Robert Allen Goff.
Graveside funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Lennie Reagan officiating.
Mrs. Goff is survived by four children, Robert William Jr. and wife, Carolyn Smith Goff, of Princeton, Joyce Goff Greenup and husband, Gerald Greenup, of Pfafftown, N.C., Walter William Goff and wife, Pamela Argenbright Goff, of Goldsboro, Harry Olander Goff and wife, Cynthia Todd Goff, of Macon, Ga.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Oak Forest Church of Christ Building Fund, 2705 N. Park Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
