PIKEVILLE -- Don Alan Gordon, 50, died Sunday morning at his home. He was born in Norfolk, Va., to the late Herbert Coke Gordon and surviving mother, Lillie Henderson Nelson. A graveside will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Kenly Cemetery.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Deborah Gordon Boyette and husband, Christopher; brother, Vince Gordon of Greensboro; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Boyette and Conner Ray Boyette.
Family will receive friends at Coley Funeral Home, Kenly, tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
