DENNIS L. CREECH

SNOW HILL -- Mr. Dennis Lyman Creech, 59, passed away Thursday.

A native of Greene County, he was born to Lyman Carl and Cleo Wade Creech.

Following graduation from Greene Central High School, he served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Mr. Creech spent the majority of his career as an auto salesman in the Goldsboro area and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

The funeral will be 7 p.m. today in the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service, with the Rev. McGee Creech officiating. Committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Mewborn Family Cemetery.

Mr. Creech is survived by his parents, Carl and Cleo Creech of Snow Hill; sons, Travis Tyler Creech of Goldsboro and Skyler Dennis Creech of Snow Hill; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Gordon Sutton of LaGrange and Cathy and William Page of Snow Hill; a niece, Carla Wade of LaGrange; and nephews, Jonathan Johnson of Snow Hill and Stephen Sutton of LaGrange.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Sunday and at other times at the home of Carl and Cleo Creech, 2541 Free Gospel Road, Snow Hill. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Bethel U.M.C., c/o Jackie Overby, 126 Point Shore Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
