Rebecca and Joseph Adams announce the birth and death of a son, Marshall Ray Adams.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Revs. Juanita Hollowell and Kelvin Gurley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Johnny and Patricia Womble of Goldsboro; paternal grandparents, Nellie Adams of Goldsboro and Chuck Adams of Four Oaks; maternal great-grandparents, Max and Betty Holloman of La Grange and A.C. and Elizabeth Powell of Dudley; paternal great-grandparents, Samuel and Shirley Sottolano of Wind Gap, Pa.; aunts and uncles, Anthony and April Womble of Mount Olive, John Robert Womble of Goldsboro, Jody and Matt Brock of New Bern, Scott and Michelle Davidson of Seven Springs, and Tracey Davidson of Dudley; and six cousins.
