GRIFTON -- Kathleen Dudley Summerlin, 91, died Tuesday at Dixon House. Born in Cra-ven County, she was the daughter of the late Lela and Charles Dudley and the widow of Joseph L. Summerlin. She was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Summerlin's Crossroads Cemetery, with the Rev. Richard Toler officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca J. Foy of Kinston; sister, Verna Burney of Greenville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Love Memorial Baptist Church, 192 Woodland Church Road, Dudley, N.C. 28333.
