CHARLOTTE -- Paul Kermit Inman, died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital, Main.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Road, with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Sharon Memorial Park.

Born in Freeland to the late Henry Blackwell and Velma Blanche Smith Inman, he graduated from Elon College and was a cost accountant for Ingram Electromek. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Margarete; son, Robert Inman of the home; daughters, Anna Kathryn Behling of Iron Station, and Michelle Poplin of Concord; sisters, Mary Doreen Hutson of Goldsboro and Janice Ross of Nakina; brothers, Larry Inman of Charlotte, Hoyt and Donald Inman, both of Ash; three granddaughters and two great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Scott Inman, and a brother, Keith Inman.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
