PINK HILL -- Thomas Franklin Nobles, 75, 272 Tapp Farm Road, died Saturday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Smith Chapel FWB Church with the Rev. C.D. Pearson officiating.
Mr. Nobles was the son of the late Josephine Smith and Tommie Nobles and Clyde Nobles and the late Durwood Nobles. He was a retired bus driver with Duke Hospital.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Glorai Diane Frederick of Dudley and Thomasenia M. Peaks of Roxboro; brothers, Charles Nobels of Hyattsville, Md., Hubert Nobles of Albertson and Wade Nobles of Durham; sister, Jean Ball of Clinton, Md.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Viewing was Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
