CLEVELAND R. MURVIN

Oct. 25,1918-April 17, 2007

Cleveland Randolph Murvin, 88, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. He was born in Lenoir County. He was retired from Kemp Furniture Company with 34 years of service.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Berry House officiating. Burial will follow in the Daniels Memorial Church Cemetery.

Mr. Murvin is survived by his wife, Annie Mae Ham Murvin of Goldsboro; son, Larry P. Murvin and wife, Evelyn T., of Goldsboro; grandson, Jeffrey P. Murvin; three step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas J. Murvin; sisters, Bessie Newcomb and Mae Turner; and brothers, Edgar and Daniel Boone Gurley.

Family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of his son, 415 Shadowy Lane, Goldsboro.
