Funeral services for Sylvia Etta Best, 85, 220 Millers Chapel Road, who died Sunday at her home will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Millers Chapel AME Church with Dr. Glenn Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Wilson Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Amos and Bertha Uzzell, and the widow of Walter Lee Best. Among her survivors are three daughters: Edna Uzzell of Bronx, N.Y., Millie Pegram of Goldsboro and Colean Best of the home.
Viewing will be Thursday at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel from 4-7 p.m.
