LAGRANGE -- Carolyn Coker Hill, 75, 351 Parkstown Road, died Wednesday at her home.

Memorial service will be Friday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory, 1500 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.

Mrs. Hill was born in Wayne County to the late Roland and Carrie Daniels Coker. She was employed as an associate with Wal-Mart in Goldsboro for over 18 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Terry Hill of the home; son, Michael Dennis Thompson; brother, Bill Coker of Goldsboro; sister, Rose Hare of Haw River; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Thompson of Goldsboro; several nieces, nephews and close friends; and a special friend, Claudia Carreno.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard Lee Thompson Jr. and J.F. Hill, III; son, Jeffery Scott Thompson; and a sister, Margie Pate.

Family will receive friends following the funeral service on Friday at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory, 1500 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.

Although flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834.
