WARSAW -- Funeral services for Mattie J. Southerland, 81, 232 N. Works Farm Road, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from Hines Chapel FWB Church with Dr. Naverro Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Jarman Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Southerland died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. She is the daughter of the late William H. and Lula Vann Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Graham Southerland of the home; son, Leonard Jarman of Wendell; sister, Catherine Coston of Warsaw and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be one hour prior to the services Thursday at Hines Chapel FWB Church. Family will be at the residence at other times.
