ANGELA S. KORNEGAY

Angela Smith Kornegay, 41, 204 Knollwood Drive, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of Durwood "Buddy" and Delia "Becky" Smith and was married to Greg Kornegay. Mrs. Kornegay was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Riley "Candy" and Luellen Smith.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Shumate-Faulk Chapel with the Rev. Andy Stovall, the Rev. Joey Howell, and the Rev. Robert Kornegay officiating. Burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service Tuesday evening.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by two daughters, Haley and Hannah Kornegay of the home; sister, Yvonne Smith of Goldsboro; maternal grandparents, Peggy and Roscoe Hyatt of Dudley; special aunt, Dolly Bass of Snow Hill; special uncle, Gerald Smith of Goldsboro; and special friends, Terry Price and family of Goldsboro.
Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
