CLARENCE E. BOSEMAN

Aug. 20,1933-March 29, 2007

Clarence Edward Boseman, age 73, of 298 Arrington Bridge Road, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was born in Pitt County to the late Charlie and Hazel Philyaw Boseman. A veteran of the National Guard, he retired from Borden Manufacturing with 41 years of service. He enjoyed his family and friends. He has always loved life.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Bishop Gary Corbett officiating.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Johnnie Jean Sauls; three sons, Clarence "Eddie" Boseman Jr. of Walnut Cove, N.C., Carl Anthony Boseman of Goldsboro and Terry Eugene Boseman of Pikeville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Annette and Thurman Saylor of Dudley, Jessie Mae Murphy and William Bailey of Kenly and Sheila Best of Goldsboro; and four grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Clifton Boseman and his sister, Jessie Mae Nolan.

Family members will greet friends following the funeral service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home until 9 p.m. and at other times will be at the home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Dr., Greenville N.C. 27834.
