R. NORMAN FLOYD

Died March 25, 2007

ROSE HILL -- R. Norman Floyd, 66, 495 Wellstown Road, died Sunday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville. He was born in Washington, D.C. to the late Willie and Lottie Drumheller Floyd and was a deacon of the Rose Hill Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Padgett Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dean Beck. Graveside service will be today at 11 a.m. at Fussell Family Cemetery, Rose Hill.

He is survived by his wife, Fannie Floyd of the home; daughters, Tracy Hall and Norma Ann Whaley, both of Rose Hill; sons, Robert Brogden of Mount Olive, Ted Brogden of Rosewood and Andy Brogden of Jacksonville; brother, Willie Floyd Jr. of Rose Hill; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family received friends following the funeral service and will be at the residence, 495 Wellstown Road, Rose Hill, other times.

Family suggests those so desiring may make memorial donations to Rose Hill Baptist Church or a charity of their choice.
