SELMA -- Ruby Lee Massengill Narron, 78, formerly of Pine Level, died Tuesday. Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late James Preston and Louisa Parnell Massengill. Her husband was the late Charles Narron. Ruby was a member of Niagara Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home, Selma, with the Rev. Dempsey Winstead and the Rev. Margaret Britt officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by a son, Freddie Narron of Goldsboro; daughter, Trudy Strahl of Kearney, Missouri; brother, Ralph Massengill of Princeton; four grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
