ELIZABETH B. YELVERTON

FREMONT -- Elizabeth "Lib" Barnes Yelverton, 88, Pennwright Road, died Tuesday at home.

Graveside services will be Friday at 9 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Fremont, with the Rev. Judy Drye officiating.

Mrs. Yelverton was born in Wilson County to the late Jonas and Elizabeth Taylor Barnes. She was a past personal care attendant at Wilson Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by two sons, Bruce Yelverton of the home and Albert Yelverton III of Wilson; daughter, Betty Levy of Silver Spring, Md.; brother, Norwood Barnes of Hendersonville; sister, Helen Batten of Rocky Mount; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lloyd Yelverton Jr.

Family will receive friends following the graveside service on Friday at Elmwood Cemetery, Fremont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Arc of Wilson County, P.O. Box 3943, Wilson, N.C. 27895.
