JOYCE G. DAVIS

Margaret Joyce Grant Davis, 69, died Thursday at her home.
Mrs. Davis was born in Wayne County to the late C.F. and Julia Lee Walker Grant. She was a retired inspector with J. P. Stevens Company and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with pastor Jack Sauls officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, Avery Davis; son, Frank Davis and wife, Bonnie, of Goldsboro; daughter-in-law, Rhonda K. Davis of Goldsboro; grandsons, Cole Davis and Robert Ormond and wife, Renee; great-grandson, Trey Ormond; sisters, Marie Cannady of Virginia Beach, Va., Mavis Bradshaw of Rocky Mount and Hilda Walker Grant of the home; and a special niece and caregiver, Judy Potter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William "Will" Davis and a brother, Bill Lane.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her residence, 345 Old Highway 111, Goldsboro.
