OWEN D. HENDRIXSON

RALEIGH -- Owen Davis Hendrixson, 59, died Tuesday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville after a brief battle with cancer.
Mr. Hendrixson was Group Vice President for First Citizens Bank in Raleigh. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in Winchester, Ky. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and held an MBA from Bellarmine University.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha Nestor Hendrixson, of Raleigh; father, Milton Hendrixson, of Goldsboro; sister, Marilyn Hendrixson Kerns and, husband, Jerry, of Nashville, Ind.; sister, Holly Hendrixson Dozier and, husband, Gerry, of Kings Mountain; nephews, Scott Dozier and wife, Arielle, of Raleigh and Jeffrey Dozier of Greenville; nieces, Lynn Deme Howard and husband, Jeffrey, and Kristy Deme Eubanks and husband, Michael, of Kingston. He is the son-in-law of Paul and Janet Nestor and brother-in-law of Judy Nestor Deme, all of Kinston.
Visitation will be Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Renaissance Funeral Home, Six Forks Road, Raleigh. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
