John "Elliot" E. Whitfield, 72, 407 W. Chestnut St., died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Among his survivors is his wife, Shirley Whitfield of the home.
Arrangements are entrusted to the McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
