DAVID E. PARKS
Died March 3, 2007
David Earl Parks, 75, died Saturday.
He was a native of Wayne County and was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Rowe and Lucy Parks. Mr. Parks was a former employee of the City of Goldsboro and the New York Transit System.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Elm Grove Church of Christ, Highway 117 North, Pikeville, with pastor Kenneth D. Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Mill Cemetery.
He is survived by three daughters,Doris McAllister and Lillie Mae Dickerson,both of Goldsboro, Shirley Hines of Jameson Hill, Md.; five grandchildren.
Viewing will be today at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro from 2 to 7 p.m.
