LEXINGTON -- On Sunday, March 4, 2007, Mickey Lee Hundley, 57, passed from this life at Brian Center in Lexington.

A cryptside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington.

Mickey was born in Guilford County on May 21, 1949 to the late Harry James and Gracie Elizabeth Kernodle Hundley. He had a great love for Superman, Mickey Mouse and Andy Griffith. He had an infectious way of making people laugh and brought many smiles into someone's day. Mickey was a special fellow who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Wanda Bullard of Lexington; nieces, Angela Bullard, Michelle Baldwin, and Tammy Carroll; nephews, Dale and Rodney Bullard; great-nieces, Amber and Skylar Bullard; great-nephew, Joshua Bullard and close friend, Phyllis Bassett.

The Hundley family will be receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. this evening at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, North Elm Chapel. Mr. Hundley's body will lie in state between 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. today and Wednesday for anyone wishing to pay their respects.

The family would like to thank Mr. Leonard Parrott, Guilford County Department of Social Services, and Mrs. Nancy Garris, Guilford Center for all of their continuous help and care for Mickey throughout the years.
