Katie Elizabeth Jones, 19, of 435 Burton Road, Dudley died Friday night due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was a 2006 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and was attending Wayne Community College. She was employed at Pine Forest Baptist Church Daycare.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Providence United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Jerry A. Jackson officiating.
Ms. Jones is survived by her parents, Wayne and Laura Anderson and Greg and Alice Jones, all of Goldsboro; her sister, Emily Odom and husband, J.R., of Goldsboro; and her grandparents, Donald and Doris Herring and George and Geraldine Jones, all of Goldsboro.
Family members will greet friends Monday night immediately following the service at the church.
