Delilah Jackson Gleason, 65, 342 Harolds Pond Lane, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Danville, Va., she was the daughter of the late William H. and Viola Radford Baise and the sister of the late Jackie Johnson. She worked for more than 17 years at Cooper Standard.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jean Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

She is survived by Jonas Tom Jackson; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Sarah Jackson of Holly Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Frank Burkhardt of Mount Olive; brothers, Martin Baise of Pelham, William Howard Baise of Glencove, Ky.; sisters, Billie Summers of Palm Beach, Fla., Patricia Baise of Pelham, N.C., and Jean Carter of Virginia Beach, Va.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Kimberly Hatem of Goldsboro.

Family members will greet friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her daughter, Susan Burkhardt, 2241 Grantham School Road, Mount Olive.
