Hazel Hinnant Daniels, 83, died Wednesday at the Brian Center.
Mrs. Daniels was born in Wayne County to the late Walter and Eunice Edwards Hinnant. She was married to the late John Monroe Daniels. Mrs. Daniels was a member of New Hope Friends Church.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at New Hope Friends Church with Bill Garner officiating. Interment will be Friday at 11 a.m. at New Hope Friends Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Marie Sutton and husband, Denny, of Goldsboro and Patricia Anne Jackson and husband, Shirrell, of Goldsboro; son, John Delbert Daniels of Selma; sister, Evelyn Grant and husband, J.B., of Goldsboro; sister-in-law, Rachel Morse of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren, Alan Sutton and wife, Jeannie, David Sutton and wife, Shay, Jodi Daniels, Kevin Daniels, Casie Daniels, Jessica Parrish and husband, William, Eddie Daniels and wife, Julie, John Daniels and wife, Paige, and Trisha Capps and husband, Jamie; 11 great-grandchildren, Meagan Sutton, Jenna Stotler, Mallory Sutton, Abigail Marie Sutton, Kimberly Parrish, Lee Daniels, Jacob Daniels, Caroline Daniels, Dawson Daniels, Matthew Jackson and Noah Capps.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Edward Lee and Annette Daniels; and a great-granddaughter, Nicole Uzzell Daniels.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to New Hope Friends Church Building Fund, 4451 E U.S. 70 Hwy., Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
The family will receive friends at the church today following the service and other times at Linda and Denny Sutton, 5555 U.S. 70 West, Goldsboro.
Arrangements are being handled by Seymour Funeral Home, Goldsboro.
