MARGARET 'PEGGY' HAM

Margaret "Peggy" Love Boyd Ham, 81, died Tuesday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.

Born in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late William Norman and Esther Boyd. A member of Adamsville Baptist Church for 40 years, she was member of the Katie Lamm Ladies Sunday School Class and the church choir. She was a member of the Stoney Creek Home Extension Club and a member of the Third Century Singers for over 25 years.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Adamsville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Varner officiating. Burial will follow in Willowdale Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Walt Gene Ham; two sons, Tim L. Ham of Warner-Robbins, Ga., Dan Ham of Goldsboro; daughter, Kathy O'Shea of Greenville; two brothers, Clarence Boyd of Gettysburg, Pa., Walter Boyd of Baltimore, Md.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Family members will greet friends Saturday at Adamsville Baptist Church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
