Funeral services for Evangelist Carol Jean Bryant, 49, 702 S. Audubon Ave., who died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at New Stoney Hill United Holy Church with Bishop L. Sawyer officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Newsome. She is survived by her husband, Earl L. Bryant Sr. of the home; daughter, Shoneka L. Heath; stepdaughters: Telicia S. Burden, Latesha Jones, Patricia Grant; stepson, Earl L. Bryant Jr.; mother, Bettie J. Raiford; sisters, Terry Pearsall, Patricia McNeil, Shirley Ann Mack; brothers, Ralph E. Newsome Jr., and Robert E. Newsome.
Viewing will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel and at other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
