Alma Pittman Stanford Matthews, 78, died Wednesday.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Roy E. Stanford and Eugene Matthews; brothers, Bobby Ray Pittman and James Pittman Sr.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church, Kenly, with the Rev. Barry Stallings and the Rev. Charles L. Renfrow officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by sons, Mike R. Stanford and wife, Judy, of Smithfield; Stan Stanford and wife, Carolyn, of Goldsboro; stepson, Roy E. Stanford Jr.; sister, Jean Wooten of Pikeville; two brothers, Robert Lee Pittman of Wilson, Charles Pittman of Kenly; four grandchildren, Melissa R Stanford, Christine L. Stanford, Jesse E. Stanford and Michael L. Stanford; four step-grandchildren, Laura D`Artios, Kelsey D` Artios, Michael Jordan and McKenzie Jordan.
