SMITHFIELD - Jenida Ann Tullis Buie, 65, formerly of Goldsboro, died Tuesday at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Born in Augusta, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Cary and Dove Crook Tullis and was the widow of Thomas Edison Buie Jr. She was a registered nurse and had worked in several hospitals in North Carolina and Wisconsin.
She is survived by a son, John Cary Buie of Apex; daughter, Kristina Leigh Buie of Madison, Wis.; a stepson, Thomas Swanton of Greens-boro; a stepdaughter, Diana Price of Black Mountain; and three grandchildren.
No formal services have been planned.
