Danny Lee Best, 48, of 206 Windsor Drive, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of Norwood and Christine Best of Goldsboro. He was a self-employed upholsterer.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Rose officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Best is survived by his wife, Margaret Jernigan Best; two sisters, Lisa Minchew and Sula Teachey, both of Goldsboro.
Family members will greet friends Sunday evening at the funeral home immediately following the funeral service and at other times will be at the home of his parents, Norwood and Christine Best, 129 Gainey Drive, Goldsboro.
