Marjorie Marie Lucas Garris, 82, formerly of Seven Springs, died Wednesday at The Sterling House. Mrs. Garris was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Barwick Garris and a daughter, Linda Garris Hackle. She had a great love of gardening and bird feeding.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Melvin Garris Plot adjoining Pineview Cemetery with pastor Gerald Garris and pastor Jerry Andrews officiating.
She is survived by a daughter, Paula Craig and husband, Bob, of Pikeville; three grandchildren, Martin and Lee Hackle, Robin Lindblad; two step-grandchildren, Darren Craig and Dawn Tallent; four great-grandchildren, Joseph, Jonathon and Michael Hackle, Savannah Lindblad; one brother, Robert Lucas of Florida.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Craig, 1334 Gurley Dairy Road, Pikeville. Condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com. Arrange-ments are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
