MOUNT OLIVE -- Adrian Daniel "A.D." Swinson, 76, 194 Beautancus Road, died early Thursday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Tyndall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Whitesides officiating. Burial will be in the Swinson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral serivce on Saturday.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Korean War, was a retired carpenter, and was son of the late Jim and Rossie Wrenn Swinson. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Weldon "Pete", Ulysses, and Elmer Swinson; and two sisters, Sallie S. Brock and Louise S. Davis.
Mr. Swinson is survived by two sisters, Annie Laurie S. Myers of Mount Olive, and Stella S. Sutton of Faison; and several nieces and nephews.
