FREMONT -- Susie Cobb Hooks, 89, a retired high school teacher, died Saturday after a lengthy illness
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Fremont Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be at Hooks Family Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Hooks. The family will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Bundgaard and husband, Victor, of Greensboro; granddaughters, Connie and Julie; two great-grandchildren; brother, Max Cobb and wife, Billie, of Kinston; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Hooks of Fremont and Leona Cobb of Eureka.
