GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- Charles Lee Stover, 49, died at his residence. He was born to John H. J. Stover Sr. and Mattie Clyde Johnson in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral was held in Fort Worth, Texas. He was buried Jan. 26 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, with full military honors.

He joined the U.S. Air Force in August 1982 and retired October 2003 at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base as a pharmacy technician. He was also stationed at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, and Ramstein Air Base, Germany. His military accomplishments included: Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon, Marksmanship Ribbon and Small Arms Expert.

He was preceded in death by his father, John H. J. Stover Sr.; his stepfather, Jasper Randolph Sr.; and one brother, Pauley C. Johnson.

He is survived by his two children, Britney and Cornelius "Mac"; his mother, Mattie C. Randolph of Fort Worth; four brothers, John Stover Jr., of Grand Prairie, Olan Stover and Jasper Randolph Jr., both of Fort Worth, and Nicholas Randolph of San Diego, Calif.; three sisters, Barbara Berry and Ellen Nichols of Fort Worth and Wendy Ross of Norfolk, Va.; and his grandmother, Para Mayfield of Fort Worth.
