Jessie Bell Best Lewis, 83, of 210 Dillard St., died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Greenleaf Christian Church with the Rev. William Barber, officiating. Interment will be in the Best Family Cemetery, Best Grove Community.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy L. Bullock and husband, John, of Durham; son, Delvia Earl Lewis and wife, Linda, of Washington D.C.; brother, Milford Best and wife, Wilma, of Washington, D.C.; foster sister, Shirley Wimberly of Philadelphia, Pa.; three grandaughters, Lesley, Erica and Cherie Bullock, all of Durham; four great-grandchildren, Johnathan Keys, Fredricka Little, Lamont Christopher Perry and Fredrick Little Jr., all of Durham; two aunts, Mattie Greenfield of Seven Springs and Polly Ann Jackson McIntyre of Philadelphia, Pa.
Wake will be tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel, Goldsboro.
