EDNA S. HOWARD

Edna Christine Sinclair Howard, 1204 Muriel St., died Tuesday at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh. She was born in Sampson County to the late Austin and Maggie Herring Sinclair and was the wife of the late Clyde Howard. Her son, Jessie Lee; three brothers, James, John, and Samuel; three sisters, Minnie Mae, Lorraine, and Ethel Lee further preceded her in death.
Private funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro. Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery, Clinton.
She is survived by one uncle, Stacy Herring, seven nieces and nephews, Edna Jean, Alfonzo (Annie), Brenda, Frank (Delores), Jean, Faye (Lewis) and JoAnne; special cousin, Cat Newton and many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
