MOUNT OLIVE -- Bertha Sullivan Morris, 94, formerly of Goldsboro, died Sunday at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation.

Born in Dinwiddie County, Va., to the late Clifton and Mary Sulli-van, she was raised in the Grantham Community. She was the wife of the late Elijah Morris and was preceded in death by five brothers including, Lawrence and James Sullivan, and one sister, Thelma Umphlett.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clifton Griffin and the Rev. Justin Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

She is survived by one sister, Ruby S. Griffin of Goldsboro; one brother, Gilbert Sullivan of New Bern; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Arthur Artis, Wayne Sullivan, Gerald Sullivan, Tommy Langston, Dennis Griffin and Tommy Griffin.
