PIKEVILLE -- Claude Herbert Nelson, 86, 136 Boyette Road, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson, with the Rev. Dewayne Batten officiating.
Surviving are his wife, Lillie Henderson Nelson; two sons, Vincent Gordon of Kernersville and Donald Gordon of Pikeville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Coley Funeral Home.
