Arturo Acevedo Trejo, 34, 139 Hummingbird Lane, died Saturday. Born in Uxdheje Tecozautla, Hidalgo Mexico, he was the son of Faustino Acevedo and Panfila Trejo of Mexico. A member of the Posada Guadalupana Church, he was employed with Southern Pride Meat Co., Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be today at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Mexico.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Olivia Ocampo Trejo; his children, twins, Ashley and Arturo Acevedo, of the home, and Christopher Acevedo of the home; two brothers, Amado Acevedo Trejo and Alberto Acevedo Trejo, both of Goldsboro; and a sister, Laura Acevedo Trejo of Mexico.
Family members will greet friends at the funeral home immediately following the funeral service.
