LAGRANGE -- Leroy Best, 60, Britthaven of LaGrange, died Monday in Lenior Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Wayne County, Dillard Class of 1964 and a construction worker in Washington, D.C. Mr. Best was preceded in death by parents, Katie and Isaac Best Sr.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop D. L. McIntyre, officiating. Burial will be private.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby L. Best, Washington, D.C.; daughter, Lajuan Best of Washington, D.C.; son, Antonio Best, Landover, Md.; four grandsons.
Viewing will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. Family will receive friends Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. and at other times at 311 Carolina St.
