JOHN W. PRICE

WINNABOW -- John William "Bill" Price, 80, died Tuesday at the Dosher Memorial Hospital, Southport.
Born in Johnson County, he was the son of the late David and Pearl Blackman Price, was a U.S. Navy veteran, served in WWII and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are his wife, Helen M. Price of the home; son, John W. Price Jr. of Smithfield; three daughters, Linda Babb of Virginia Beach, Va., Brenda Faye Reardon of Harrells, and Robin Price of Goldsboro; stepson, Robert Peterson of Leland and a stepdaughter, Louise Carter of Winnabow; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service is planned for a later date.
Arrangements are by Coble Ward-Smith Funeral and Cremation Service, Supply Chapel.
