Hazel Bell Albert Dillon, 90, died Monday evening at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Dillon was born in Pulaski, Virginia on May 20, 1916 and was reared in Bluefield, West Virginia. She graduated from Beaver High School and attended First Baptist Church. Mrs. Dillon relocated to Roanoke, Virginia in 1954 and lived at 460 Riverland Road. She was employed at the General Electric Repair Center off of Riverland Road as a secretary for more than 22 years. Mrs. Dillon attended Riverland Road Baptist Church until 1986 when she moved to Goldsboro to live with her daughter, Martha and son-in-law, Roy L. Hawks. Mrs. Dillon was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church and most recently she was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Goldsboro. She was a life long Christian and loved the Lord dearly.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at New Life Baptist Church at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Rick Mondell officiating. Interment will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Burial Park in Roanoke, Va.

In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, she is survived by her grandchildren, Jean Hawks of Goldsboro, David Hawks and wife, Pat, and their children, Ryan, Caine, Jacob and Dillon of Seven Springs, and Julie Magnotti and her husband, David, of Niceville, Fla.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834 or New Life Baptist Church, 800 S. Harding Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at 131 Woods Mill Road, Goldsboro, NC.

Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1300 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
