FRANKIE B. SUMMERLIN

MOUNT OLIVE -- Frankie Mae Barwick Summerlin,92, 3742 Emmaus Church Road, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tyndall Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Sherman Dilley officiating. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Mount Olive.

She was the daughter of the late Frank and Eva Dail Barwick and the widow of Jesse B. "Jake" Summerlin. She was a member of Northeast Free Will Baptist Church and had been a recent resident of Glen-Care Retirement Home in Mount Olive.

Mrs. Summerlin is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette S. and Lavern Stocks of Ayden; a son and daughter-in-law, Aldon and JoAnn Summerlin of La Grange; four sisters, Thelma Pinyatella of Mount Olvie, Viola Grantham of Grantham, Eula Malpass and Geneva Walker, both of Mount Olive; a god-child, Justeen Kilpatrick Smith of Mount Olive; four grandchildren, Pamela Hudson, Leigh Davis, Christi Stephenson, and Daryl Anderson; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Neta Barwick; brothers, George, Harvey, Charlie, Jack, Robert, Leon, Aaron and Jason Barwick, and sister, Lucy B. Kilpatrick.

Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, and at other times at the residence at 3742 Emmaus Church Road, Mount Olive.
