LLOYD A. BIZZELL

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Lloyd Alton "Boots" Bizzell, 87, 4792 Davis-Hardy Road, died Wednesday at Kinston Rehabilitation Center. "Boots" was born in Lenoir County to the late James Lloyd and Bessie Williams Bizzell. He was a life-long farmer.

Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. from Daly's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Stancil officiating.

Mr. Bizzell is survived by a brother, Harold E. Bizzell of the home; five sisters, Virginia Swann of Morehead City, Shirley O'Brien of Houston, TX, Carol Bizzelle of Cary, Johnnie Bizzelle of Summerville, S.C., and Bess Pocklington of Chula Vista, Calif.; sister-in-law, Effie Bizzell of Seven Springs; a special niece, Dot Kennedy and husband, Milton, of Kinston; along with several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Malcolm, James, Norman and Robert Bizzell; and a sister, Dorothy Estelle Bizzell.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, La Grange.
