Loretta Croghan Klahre, 65, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

She was born in New Jersey to Joseph and Helen Gallagher Croghan and was a home-maker.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Norris, O.S.F.S. presiding. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Levers and husband, James, of New Egypt, N.J.; her sons, Michael Klahre and wife, Karen, of Selma, Thomas Klahre of Orlando, Fla., and Douglas Klahre and wife, Jennifer, of Wall, N.J.; her sisters, Lucille and Joan Croghan, both of Goldsboro; and two grandchildren, Troy Klahre and Zachary Levers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1000 N. Jefferson Street, Goldsboro, 27530 or Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, 27534.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Croghan and her brother, Father Joseph Croghan, M.M.

A wake service will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home with a visitation following that service until 9 p.m.
