KINSTON -- Evangelist Idell Adams Coley, 97, formerly of Pikeville, died Sunday at the Britthaven Nursing Home, Kinston.
Funeral service will be Friday at 12 p.m. at Elm Grove Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Pikeville, with the Elder Kenneth D. Vaughn, officiating.
She was the daughter of the late Willie Thomas and Lillie Hooks Adams. She had two sisters and six brothers that preceded her in death.
Ms. Coley is survived by one son, James Edward Cox; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Friday from 11 to Noon at Elm Grove Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Pikeville.
The family will assemble one hour prior at Hamilton Funeral Home, 423 S. James St., in perparation for the funeral procession.
