WALLACE W. JONES

Wallace Wade Jones, 62, of 103 Valley Drive, died Saturday at his home.
Born in Johnston County, he was the son of the late John Jones and Louise Worrell Braswell. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he was a retired carpenter with O'Berry Center for 21 years. He was a member of Rosewood First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Rosewood with the Revs. Larry Bostian and Vernon Braswell officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn M. Jones; two sons, Billy Jones and wife, Sherry, of Goldsboro and Mike Jones of Goldsboro; a daughter, Jeannette Schuster and husband, Jason, of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Sydney Schuster, Kasey Jones & Alex Jones.
Flowers are welcome and memorial contributions may be directed to the Rosewood First Baptist Church Building Fund, 562 NC Hwy 581, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
The family will be receiving friends Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his daughter, 205 Highwoods Drive, Goldsboro.
