DEEP RUN -- Joyce White Taylor Hux, 84, of Glencare, 2773 Pinewood Home Road, Pink Hill, died Saturday. Mrs. Huz, formerly of Halifax County, lived her last years in the Deep Run community and was a member of Harper-Southerland Presbyterian Church. Services will be Monday at 7 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Love officiating. Visitation will be in the chapel following the service. The burial and graveside service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Seaboard Cemetery in Seaboard.
Survivors include two sons, Harvey W. Taylor III, and his wife, Randi, of Deep Run, and Steven Curtis Taylor and his wife, Barbara, of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, James Taylor of St. Lous, Mo., Lindzey Taylor of Marietta, Ga., and Ron Casey of Bethesda, Md. She has one sister, Janet White Taylor of Rich Square.
