WALLACE - Jerry Lee Gore, 53, died Wednesday at Pender Memorial Hospital in Burgaw.
He was born to the late Joseph Gore and wife, Effie Mae Dixon Gore of Duplin County. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Joseph Allen and Earl Ray Gore; three sisters, Hazel Lee Gore, Faye Gore Strickland and Christine Gore Ezzell.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilson Family Cemetery, Highway 403, Faison, with the Rev. Jerry Wayne Ezzell officiating.
Surviving is one daughter, Sugar Evon Gore of Grants Pass, Ore.; one brother, Wayne Douglas Gore of Bakersfield, Calif.; and one niece.
