WASHINGTON -- Pattie Faye Rose Griffin, 56, died Thursday at Beaufort County Hospital.
A graveside service will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating.
Ms. Griffin was born in Goldsboro to Mary Jo Thompson Hales and the late Milton Rose.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Robert Griffin and wife, Mandy, of Washington; her daughter, Bobbie Jo Taylor and husband, Gary, of Kinston; her grandchildren, Zack Taylor, Amber Taylor and Jackson Griffin; her sister, Gail Croom and husband, Rudolph, of Vanceboro; and her brother, Clifton Hales and wife, Janet, of Grifton.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Griffin.
Pallbearers will be Carl Horton Jr., Brent Stilley, David Rye, Zackery Taylor, Gary Taylor, Cliff Hales and Rudolph Croom.
The family will receive friends today from 1 until 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
