James Arthur Moore, 77, 187 Best Ave. died Oct. 4 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro with Pastor Odell Moore officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Moore was born to the late Charlie Franklin Moore and Addie Lee Smith Moore.
He is survived by four sisters: Emma Mae Rouse of Jamaica, N.Y., Geraldine Dais and Francis Jean-Best of Goldsboro and Inez Stamps of Kissimmee, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. with a wake from 6 to 7 p.m. with the family present to receive friends at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
